ID Pocket

Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 12, 2026

ID Pocket helps you organize documents for yourself and your family. You do not need an ID Pocket account. We do not run a server that stores your documents.

Information you save

Document details, photos, notes, and information about the people you add are stored on your device. You choose what to save.

Processing on your device

Search, photo editing, PDF creation, and scanning supported documents happen on your device. Document photos are not sent to us for recognition. You can review and edit the results; scanning does not verify a document’s authenticity or validity.

Camera, photos, and notifications

Backups and iCloud sync

Backups and iCloud sync are optional. Backups created by ID Pocket are encrypted. If you turn on iCloud sync, changes can sync automatically through iCloud until you turn it off. Manual iCloud backups are saved separately under your Apple Account. We do not have access to your private iCloud storage.

Device backups made by iOS or your computer are separate from ID Pocket’s backup features and depend on your system settings.

Purchases

Apple handles Pro subscriptions and payments. ID Pocket checks your purchase status to unlock Pro. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

Advertising and tracking

ID Pocket has no ads or cross-app tracking. We do not operate analytics or crash-reporting services in the app, and we do not sell your personal information.

Sharing and support

You control whether to share photos or PDFs, export backups, or enable iCloud sync. Copies you share are handled by the apps, services, or people you choose.

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you send so we can respond. Please avoid sending document numbers, document photos, or backup files unless needed.

Deleting your information

You can delete records in the app. When iCloud sync is enabled, deletions can sync to your other devices. Deleting a record does not remove copies already saved in manual backups or exported files; delete those separately where they are stored.

Deleting the app removes its local data but does not delete your iCloud backups or exported files. Restoring a backup replaces the app’s current records on this device.

Changes to this policy

We will publish updates on this page and change the effective date.
